Alight Mobile

Companion App for All Alight Services

After helping establish reimbursements within the newly launched Alight Mobile app, Kris was promoted to be the lead Product Manager for the app. Kris managed roadmap and feature development for five teams, helping organize the program to be a true agile organization while doubling downloads and active users.

Alight Worklife

Wellbeing and Benefits Platform

As Alight transitioned the UPoint platform to their new, smarter, wellbeing focused Alight Worklife platform, Kris helped with the integration and addition of the Smart-Choice Accounts platform, giving clients more options, more flexibility, and lower cost alternatives for their users. This included integrating the new platform while enabling mixed platform accounts to be as seamless as possible for end users.

UPoint

Benefits Administration Portal

The UPoint platform serves as the central web portal that helps support Alight’s over 19 million participants and their families. It is a foundation platform that allows employers and employees to manage all their HR benefits, including insurance, 401k, HR policy, enrollment, and other benefits. Kris managed efforts to bring reimbursement accounts to the platform including health care, health savings, tuition, commuter and fringe benefits. This allowed for many new features including more client customization, multi-language support, responsive design, easier claims entry, and many new plan features.

Reimburse Me

Claims Reimbursement Mobile App

Reimburse Me allows employees to manage their reimbursement accounts including checking their balance, submitting claims, getting signatures, managing direct deposits, and more from their Android and iOS devices. Kris worked as the solution lead developing the 2.0 version, managing the creation of new features including e-signature, HSA management, overpayment recovery, and interface improvements.

BCONNECTED CRM

Call Center Solution

The bConnected platform serves as the primary call center interface for many Optum call centers nationwide, including CRM, call handling, and reporting. Kris worked deploying new instances, documenting workflow customization, defining file transfer structures, writing system functional business requirements, and serving as a system subject matter expert for clients.

MyCustomHealth

Medicare Insurance Exchange

With Medicare health plans being a sea of confusion for retiring employees, Optum developed an health exchange website exclusively for retirees. Kris worked to bring this system to fruition, including mocking up every page, writing user stories, and working side by side with developers to bring the project from the drawing board to the web.

NERC.com

Organization Web-portal and Repository

North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) needed to bring their web portal up to date and migrate to SharePoint for CRS. This involved transferring over 10,000 documents, including updating the code to display properly in the new, modern environment. Kris worked with the team to not only move the documents, but establish methodologies for the entire team to speed the process.

ShopZui

Daily Deal Ecosystem

Kris helped deliver the entire platform for daily deal site ShopZui. This included front-end consumer portal, back-end workflows, and a complete merchant listing solution – from wire-frames to production support. The complete turnkey solution allowed merchants to list a special, writers & artists to fashion for consumers, account managers to review, and consumers to buy and redeem – providing a full end-to-end cycle.

AutoSystem

Aviation Capital Management System

Managing a fleet of commercial airliners is no small task. When Kris was serving as the Director of Lease Administration, he spent time coding their aircraft management system. The system moved them off of MS Access and allowed for a multi-user, multi-platform web solution that not only tracked assets, but generated on the fly marketing materials and invoicing. Kris coded the solution from scratch using PHP with a MySQL back-end.
